Midwest Forex has started to pay Transfast and Ria customers in Uganda after partnering with the money transfer giants based in the United States. Midwest Forex Bureau started operations in 2001 as a fully registered financial institution to provide foreign currency exchange services provider. The bureau later included money transfer services to its menu.
Ria Money Transfer is a subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. which specializes in money remittances. Ria initiates transfers through its network of agents and company-owned stores located throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and online. Ria currently serves customers in 160 countries through more than four hundred thousand locations worldwide.
On the other hand, Transfast is an international money transfer and cross-border payments company headquartered in New York, with additional offices in India the UAE, and the Philippines. Owned by Mastercard, Transfast is a provider of multi-currency, cross-border payments services for consumers and businesses around the world. Remittances are processed through its wholly-owned direct-to-bank network, and the company offers two hundred cash pay-out points across 120 countries.
The bureau also offers agent banking and mobile money services to its customers. We strive to broaden the sphere of our financial services to reach the target of becoming a one-stop point of all financial services for our customers.
